Introduction

e-Learning is short for "Electronic Learning" or Distance learning or Teach Yourself learning.

Our e-Learning Classroom is for those clients who prefer to:

  • Teach themselves and learn specific areas
  • Learn at their own place, pace, date and time
  • Contact Catherine Barker a qualified Microsoft® Office Specialist Master for support
  • Learn from quality material that is prepared by Catherine Barker whose qualifications are on our home page

The Software Solutions e-Learning program allows clients to choose areas to study.  Review the Stages of e-Learning, and when you (the client) have decided what you would like to do, either register by emailing or phoning Catherine Barker refer to the home page for details.

Start Date: Upon Approval an email will be sent to you providing you with a personal password to enter the e-Learning Classroom.  You can then print the information and work offline or work directly with the modules online.

Study: Modules include Step-by-Step instructions and exercises to teach you new skills. Each module then includes one or more Initiative exercises, to put the step-by-step skills to the test by performing a given task.

Tutor: All e-Learning students have access to Catherine Barker via email. You can contact Catherine at any time and ask for support, or if you have any questions I will be only too happy to help.

Review each stage to see what is taught, if you are unsure what stage you should arrange, do one or more Skill Assessments to determine your level of knowledge.  If you are still unsure or prefer a more customised training program please contact Catherine Barker for assistance.

If you have any queries, no matter how small please contact Catherine Barker.

"I was looking for specific online training ...I am doing the online training in Word and I started right at the beginning thinking I would know it all, but to my surprise I have learnt quite a lot in just three lessons!"  Linda Lovell, Gisborne Hospital, New Zealand.

Thank you for the follow up – they are excellent modules and have made extensive use of them – will definitely be looking to other modules in the future... they have helped enormously" Nadine Bertoncini, Lakes District Health Board, Rotorua, New Zealand.
